Apart from this, an additional processing fee of Rs 1000 will also be levied. Under the property transfer scheme or UP Bhulekh transfer, if a property is transferred in the name of a father, daughter, son, mother, husband, wife, daughter-in-law, real brother, sister, son-in-law and grandchildren, a nominal fee of Rs 5000 will be charged. The property transfer scheme was first introduced for a period of six months. Owing to the popularity of this scheme, the UP Government has extended the scheme indefinitely. Under this scheme, the residents can transfer their property in the name of their blood relatives at a nominal fee of Rs 5000. In an encouraging development, the Uttar Pradesh government has revived the popular property transfer or bhulekh UP transfer scheme at a minimal cost.
